![]() After experiencing the game, I had an interest in seeing the real thing and was VERY impressed with the similarities between the game and real-life. Heck, I've had so much fun with the game that I even went out and recorded the Australian GP and watched it this morning. I'm still not as fast as I should be, but finished middle of the pack in my first two GPs before a retirement early in my 3rd GP. ![]() But, transitioning to manual was I think a very important step to being able to make the cut in career mode. I started driving with the auto transmission. I play with all aids off except anti-lock braking and weak TC. It took about 15 tries before I could do it and that was with 4-5 hours practicing the Silverstone and Magny Cours tracks in time trial mode to try to get better at them. I've had the F1 Championship Edition for exactly one week now and can't stop playing it! It's very, very good in my opinion - addictive if you like "sim" racing type experiences. I'm a NASCAR fan and never followed F1 racing at all in the past.
